Tassel sat on the visitors’ side of the desk with her laptop on her lap. After she’d disclosed everything Alex had given her, she stared attentively at Gypsy, who was pensive.

“Can we trust this Alex guy?” the woman asked. “My long-lost sister is staying with me and I haven’t disclosed much to her.”

“Without a doubt. I have done extensive research at Angel’s request and he’s clean. He’s a simple computer major at NYU.” She pushed her glasses back. “I have to say, he’s given us the biggest lead on the All Agoria School and Ned Stevens in weeks.”

“All right, then. What do we know about this Sanctum of the Senses?”

“It’s not good.” Tassel pressed a few keys on her laptop. “It is owned by Lawrence Collins, who is also known as Porneia—a Nephilim.”

“A Nephilim-owned business. That could only mean trouble.”

“He opened the mid-town establishment a year ago, and it’s supposedly a…” She frowned and read from the screen. “A virtual simulation experience that heightens the senses beyond your wildest imagination.”

“Okay…let’s go with that.”

Tassel pursed her lips as she continued to read. “Interestingly enough, I see that many wealthy people, celebrities, and even overseas royals visit this place.”

Gypsy leaned forward, her gaze intense. “What do we know about this Porneia character?”

“In our Nephilim database, he was first seen two years ago by a group of our warriors whom he seduced to engage in combat with another. My notes state that he reveled as he watched the Daughters fight. One of them struck him accidentally with a blade, and that’s how they could escape. We have him listed as a powerful Temptationite.”

“If Ned Stevens is there, I can’t send Reina alone. I will need to get involved in this one.” Gypsy drew a deep breath. “Do me a favor and research all you can on this business and the location. I don’t think it’s wise to engage this Nephilim head-on, but this titbit of having royals visiting there gave me an idea. I’ll also need you to forge me some fake IDs.”

“How many?”

“I’ll get back to you on that.”
